I arrived in Jaffna on Wednesday March 17th 2010 to organize web developer program for Jaffna Youths  in collaboration with IIS CITY CAMPUS. The program will open up many possibilities for the youths in Jaffna including self-employment or to get employment in corporate IT sectors.

The program is designed with full time hands on practical sessions. The students attend this program will be going through a strictly disciplined syllabus and those who receive diploma will demonstrate strong knowledge in Web Development including CMS and LAMP Solutions.

I will update the progress as new information become available. So, check back soon . . .

I am leaving to Jaffna on march 3 for a 2 day visit. I have planed to meet some executives and leading school principals. I will be discussing the possibility of integrating Web developer training to the O/L and A/L students. This will enable the youths from northern Sri Lanka to participate in the global Trade and economy.

Jaffna students are well known for their exponential Math skills.

I was busy last month with developing JaffnaCampus.com – It is online now and needs some additions, which I will followup after the trip.
